- Do not feed nasturtiums as this will encourage leafy growth rather than flowers.
- They do well on poor, hungry soils and can withstand fairly dry conditions.

How to grow Nasturtium
- Nasturtiums thrive in sandy, well-drained soil in a sunny position.
- Plant directly into compost in containers, baskets or window boxes. Water well until young plants fully establish.
- Keep moist. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 30cm apart, or into containers, baskets or window boxes, when frosts are over.
- Keep well-watered but allow the soil to dry out in between watering.
- Allow foliage to die back after the flowering season is over as this will add valuable nutrients to the soil.
