Get instant impact with an instant hedge! See seasonal changing foliage colour from the very first year with this established UK native Beech hedge, ready to plant in place straight away!
Boost the privacy of your garden with this fast-growing variety, coated in leaves that begin life in spring as bright green, fading subtly into summer, before evolving to an autumnal mix of copper, orange, bronze, and brown. Plus, most of the old leaves remain on the plant into the winter months for continued coverage, before falling to make way for fresh spring growth.
This instant Beech hedge forms into a dense and tidy plant, so is particularly pleasing on the eye and structural.
Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure this is a proven garden performer, guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant out in the garden with confidence.
Prune in August to enjoy thick foliage for a longer period, while Beech can also be grown to more-or-less any height to fit the required space. Growing at a good rate of 30-60cm every year, a Beech hedge will grow in most soil types, in either a sunny or part-shaded area of the garden.
Supplied as an established and ready to plant hedge, approximately 70-90cm high and 20cm wide.
