This rose bursts to life with an abundance of vibrant red blooms from early summer.
Repeatedly flowering all the way through to the start of autumn, the blooms boast red-shaded petals that only stand out more as they contrast against deep green foliage.
This bush rose is sure to make a statement wherever it is planted, as it gives off an outstanding fragrance.
‘Ruby 40th Wedding Anniversary’ is a versatile rose, which will look right at home in a bed or border, or even in a pot or container on a patio.
Supplied freshly in a 3L pot, ready to be planted out. Please note at certain time of the year this variety may be supplied in a 4L pot.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring.

Roses can be planted at any time of the year, as long as the soil is not frozen, waterlogged or drought-dry
Care Information
- Plant your rose where it can get plenty of sun for at least half of the day, and where it will be sheltered from the wind.
- Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, so add plenty of well-rotted manure into the hole if necessary and plant so that the graft union (the swollen area when the stems meet the roots) is around 3cm below soil level.
- Water well every other day - daily if the weather is hot and dry. Established roses can be watered around once a week through spring and summer - more if the weather is hot.
- For best results, feed roses in late-March/April and again late July.
